You know it's the Bass Player that holds down the Groove.
And the rest of the band follows...

But then again I'm a bad Bass Player.
Cause I got TOO many hobbies!!!

What is it about this forum or this hobby that attracts bass players?

Whadya call a guy that hangs with musicians?  Bass Player
How does a bass player break up with the band?  "Hey guys, I wrote this song!"
Whadya call a bass player when he breaks up with his girlfriend?  Homeless
Whats the difference between a bass player and a large pepperoni pizza?  The pizza can feed a family.

All the aforementioned jokes can be modified to drummer jokes as soon as Pearl Drums shows up!!!

John Halverson
former Bass player

P.S.  What does bowmaking and bass playing have in common?  Both are fun and will never make a living for you.

Ha haa JW,but the joke is,what do groupies and DRUMMERS have in common ...they both hang out with musicians !!!   And whats that "former bass player" CRUD???

Years back I googled my name and found about a dozen or so.  When I looked at facebook profiles and such I learned that 7 of them, including myself, played bass.  One in Australia and another in New Zealand once played in the same band!!!

Whadya call a band with two bass players?  We Play For Free.
