warbow 1, Rob 0 (though my pride may be a -1).  God my back is still sore!  I don't know how those guys do it.  Time for another beer...  But what really impressed me where your flight tests of another bow.  I mean holy &#*$!!  I'll let you tell that story.  I'm letting my elm rest until Sunday but I'll be chasing that Osage ring again tomorrow!   ;D ;D  thanks for everything brother!  Awesome lesson on heating / bending.  I'll be gettin a heat gun tomorrow!!  And bandaging my burnt finger.   :( lol
Thanks,
Rob - Wexford, PA

keep wishing noel..you never know ::)  ;)

thanks danlaw

yeah rob..that thing kicked our rear... :-[  :-\....maybe its stronger than what i think it is,or our technique is all wrong...stumping n flight shooting was fun,and even in some rain and wind my elm bow shot better this time pushing ~ 230 yards....patience with the ring chasing and dont be so gun shy ;) find that sweet spot with the knife in the early growth and itll peel like a banana,well almost ;D

So I should go slower and faster, got it!  ;)  I guess that is kinda true it's just learning when to do each.  Even though I'm strugging with the technique a bit, I found chasing the ring enjoyable.  Almost calming to focus so intently on one thing.  I think i like it!

not sure if you got my text but you'll have to hang on to my bow until next time.  thanks!

Very cool!  I was going to ask how you pull it, but realized that this is the bow in pahunter's thread.  Can't wait to see it finished!
