My wife and I had a big laugh about how this is who we are.  She got a call from the Dr. about an opening appointment later in the day and she opted to go to town on fairly short notice (its a little over an hour each way and the wind was blowing like crazy)!  She had been gone about an hour when the phone rang from some unknown and I noticed her money/license/credit card/etc. purse laying on the counter. I started laughing and could see her in the grocery store with a cart full just to discover she had no way to pay for it.  We have no cell phone service where we live and only spotty service on the way to town.  Finally got a message to her before she was embarrassed!  I only misplaced my gloves and a search of the shop took just 30 minutes to find them!  A/Ho Joe

Then there was the time I broke my favorite coffee mug.  I had filled it, set it down, worked on a bow tiller, took a couple phone calls, and then found it later in the day while I was wondering why I had this headache (lack of caffeine).

So I went to pop it in the microwave to warm it up.  Something or other came up.  Well, long story short (I know, too late) I found it a few days later where I had put it in the freezer and the coffee had cracked the mug when it froze solid and expanded.

There are 3 things that happen when you get older:
1. you loose your memory
2.....

I can't remember the other two.
