Micheals and Hobby Lobby has feathers also.  You can use the pheasant tail feathers that are sold in the flower arrangement section and whatever feathers they may have elsewhere in the store.

The walmart feathers are small but they are tougher than chicken feathers.  They are either goose or duck.
Any critter tastes good with enough butter on it.

I saw craft feathers at Walmart yeaterday. They looked like chicken primaries in different colors for about $2.50 a bag.

Are you a craftsman?  Go to trade blanket and make a swap.  If I was home I could help you out I have many turkey feathers.

Interesting. I used to use chicken feather in the 50's. I grew up on the farm. I'd just tie them on whole kinda like a 4 fletch only top and bottom. I think. It was a long time ago! I may have to make some again if I can get some chicken feathers. Jawge
