Turtle, I built one and it would have been a fantastic shooter I assume. It blew up due to starving the glue joint in the fade area. I would build it just like a boo backed osage. and be careful not to starve the glue joint LOL
learned a great deal many things during my absence the last few years,
True friends are rare and priceless.
You always think it won’t happen to you, well it can it will. Such is life, it ain't fair and shows no indifference. Enjoy it anyway

I agree footfoot he does amazing work! This bow was built in 2004 and shoots like a dream like all of Johns bows! I about crapped my pants when he picked it out of his pile of bows and handed it to me and told me it was mine after I told him how beautiful it was. :o

my friends think my shops a mess, my wife thinks I have too much bow wood, my neighbors think im redneck white trash and they may all be right on the money!!

Ha! Elktracker. I'll remember to bring a change of underwear if I ever meet him and visit his shop.
Bring me my Bow of burning gold; Bring me my Arrows of desire: Bring me my Spear: O clouds unfold! Bring me my Chariot of fire!
