cleaned up a little
« on: January 06, 2012, 12:34:55 am »
Had some spare time in the basement and decided I would build a little rack out of some home grown bamboo and a roll of electrical tape lol.

It's tillered more circular lol.  There is no doubling up anywhere...just an teepee style rack with four bamboo sticks at each level.  Its a lot stronger than I thought for some single stack bamboo.  The whole thing flexes with the weight but it holds.  Took a total of about 15 minutes.  I like the look.

I like it, it's a prime example of using what you got on hand. Ron

Nice job. I think the Japanese make some serious scaffolding from boo. Its no doubt incredibly strong.

I think the Chinese use it more. I saw quite a bit of it when I was over there. Several stories high.

Yup, it was the China. I seen video of crazy high scaffolding made from boo. I would say it can hold its share!
