Maybe I can add a harmonica to the bass.  Haven't watched the second half of the "how-to" video but if you let me know when we're in the key of "C" I should be able to hold my own.  Might take a few adult beverages to get me going, though.  Great news, Guy!  We'll see you there!

I'm taking up the Harmonica too. Man, wish I could be there. I know some of the guys really know their stuff on the Harmonica and would love to learn from them.

i talked to kelsey a while back and he said he was coming that kid shure can play that banjo i realy enjoyed picking with him will have my guitar and harp can't wait to see every one.

My son Isaac is all about this trip to TN.  He wants to bring the bow we are working on and likes the idea of trading stuff.  He has been bugging me all week about what he could trade and what others might want.  I suggested that he dig some blood root that we have here in Iowa in hopes that someone might be interested.   Blood root is a root that can make a powerful dye for feathers leather and cloth.  The internet says it dyes stuff red if you add other stuff,salt I think, but I mostly get a real deep orange color to it.   Around here blood root is hard to find so we only take every other plant and only look every other year.  Anyway he found about 20 roots so far.  Please let me know if anyone is interested in some kind of a trade for this primitive dye and I will let him know.

I think he really likes the idea of the trade and would be interested in anything primitive.  He is hunting for the root everyday so he should have enough for a couple of trades.  If you want to pm items you have I will have him read them and pm you back tonight.

That is special that you folks are taking up the Harmonica ,Yesterday we buried the best harmonica player I have ever known ! He was a childhood friend and known as "Harmonica John" Its good to hear that others are stepping up to fill his place!

I think my brother and I have most of the details worked out for being able to make to the Classic So will most likely see ya wed eve. Praise God for He is good !!
