For Lombard, ASTB

Lombard, I'd like to thank you again for the new subscriptions you purchased for yourself and another member on this site.

Here is my end of the trade. This bow is going to Alabama for the ASTB Charity Auction as soon as I get a chance to package it up.

This Osage bow is 60" N to N and pulls 55#@28". I backed this bow with rawhide to help make it bullet proof, never know who is going to win it. I stained the bow and rawhide with Walnut hull stain and then tried a camo job with more walnut. The tips were stained with maroon leather dye and topped off with white cow horn overlays. It is pretty quick and slams a heavy arrow.

Wow Eddie that is one sweet bow. Love the color and overall great looking bow.  You are a good guy to donate a beauty like that. Hope your other one is even more pleasing for you. ;)

Thank you, Gentleman. I was very pleased with the rawhide staining. I was experimenting and was happy with the way it came out.
Keenan, the other Osage is the one I started at Pappy's in the Spring and got shooting when I went back in last month. Got it skinned, justs needs a leather grip.

That is a sharp bow.  I really like the stain job on the back.  Great job.  I hope whoever gets it appreciates all the work it took to build it.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

Cool bow Eddie, sweet finish job. What do you have it braced at?

Great looking bow Eddie!  Really like the brace profile and that camo affect is different!
