This is great!i cant believe you can make these bendy thing's into Bows

I cut my first stave for a bow yesterday,it was a big piece of elderberry (Sambucus Canadensis) i know it's not very good for bows but i thought it would do for practacing on as i have no idea what i'm doing

,it was only going to get chopped up anyway so why not...I cut it and debarked the whole thing,marked the bow out then went to bed,when i came home from work the next day the bloody thing was full of cracks

I should of left the bark on shouldnt I ?
Not to worry,i've got my eye on another one to ruin
