Been a while since I've broke any rock
« on: November 02, 2011, 11:08:39 am »
and the last several time I've tried all I made was a pile of gravel.  We had the youth group over Sunday evening for a campfire and one of the kids that had shown interest in knapping before asked a few more questions.  So, I sat down beside him with a big obsidian flake and showed him the little bit that I know.  That kinda got the itch going again, so I brought my tools to work with me and knocked these 2 out during lunch the past couple of days.

I'm flying out there today but the way they've tightened down at work it's harder than ever for me to get away just ask Lee Slickers ::).

If you can bring the bow with you.  There's some real good gamelands right around there.
