bamboo arrow shafts
« on: October 12, 2011, 11:04:24 pm »
Hi all, so I've got some horn on the way to make my first horn bow. Now I'm hoping to get my hands on some processed sinew. The only thing I have to trade at this point in time is some bamboo arrow shafts. They are spined 50-55#s, and around 33'' long, the nodes are sanded smooth, and straightened. If anybody is interested I'll post a pic or two.

I was HECHO EN MEXICO, but assembled in Texas and I'm Texican as the day is long...  Psalm 127:4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.

I've some sinew that was purchased on PP from Eric. Good stuff but I won't use it with my current setup. If you're interested let me know. One full ounce and very clean.
I found many years ago that it is much easier and more rewarding working with those that don't know anything than those that know it all.
