OK, I'll play. Top down:
Arundanaria tecta (switch cane) or possibly Bambusa
Japanese arrow bamboo (Psuedosasa japonica)
Either Phyllostachys spp. or Arundanaria gigantea (giant river cane)

.........Ok, ding ! ding ! weiner, sorta !
Hillbilly (Steve) an Ridge Runner are correct 'bout bottom one. Its Arundinaria gigantia also called giant cane. Patch I get it from has some that are 25' tall. Second one is also Arundinaria gigantea but what is the species called ? Hint: I harvest it in No. Fla. and it grows all over Va., No. an So. Carolina an Tennessee. Rattlers (canebrake an diamondbacks-eastern) luv the ground litter under it fer huntin' an shade as do coral snakes and copperheads.
What is top one ? Any guesses ? Hint: Its also called "Teatree Bamboo"

Top one is indeed Tonkin cane, also called "teatree" bamboo. Supposedly grows only in china but I found a Huge wild patch here in "boonies'.
Fer my $ makes the best arrows of all the canes even bambusa. Talkin' about bambusa I haven't forgot Justin. So, What is 2nd one ?

BOB, you even got it wrong. They aren't arrows, they are shafts.

Ding,ding,ding ! Another weiner, ah I mean winner !
It is indeed Tamarix sp. also commonly called salt cedar. Very invasive an considered a weed in western part of u.s. Makes good arras but was not here in u.s. when n.a.'s were makin' arras from canes. So whats # 2

Pat I think Bob threw in the color to fool you. I bet it is dogwood or something obvious. Justin
