Stan, welcome to PA. I live in Chesapeake (Great Bridge). I have been out of commission for a while, but hope to get back into it soon.  I'll shoot you an email.

hi Spiritoftherock1
I live at Smith mountain Lake, about 17 miles from Roanoke, Va.
I've been knapping for about 2 1/2 years now with Steve Chatten who lives about 4 miles form me. He started me on making bows now for about 1 year.
He's been making bows for over 25 years.
We also knapp with Dr. Erritt Callahan. they are old friends of Graig Nunn.
There are a few knappers around but very few here in Va.
If I can help you with anything, let me know. ;)

I live in Chesterfield just south of Richmond.  There is another guy that lives in Bon Air southwest of Richmond that i get together with sometimes to knap and do other primitive things.

Hey Stan.  Good to see you here. I'm taking this year off from the Knap-In we've had going for the past few years.  I plan to get up to Rutherfordton to Rockbob & Piper's Knap-In on 9-16-18th, 2011.

Hey Stan, Glad to see some more from Virginny. Guess we need to find a time and place those of us from here to have a little Knap-in of our own. I have been attempting knapping for a while but keep getting hung up. It would be nice to have some pointers and opinions from those more experenced help get me on the right track.
