I worked on this David Knight Bamboo Backed Osage this past weekend at Twin Oaks.  It’s 64” Tip to Tip, 62” nock to nock.  It came in at 49# @ 27”.  I believe I’ll name it “Poke” because it scared the heck outa me when Pappy almost poked his eye out when I had it in the vice near his work bench.  I seem to always learn something when I visit my buddy.  I had several of my friends shoot it after final tiller.  It started life out at 66” tip to tip however with a phone call to David, and discussion with Pappy, I cut it down, gained some weight and it turned out perfect for me.  I put Copperhead skins on it.  I darkened the back of the bow and the skins turned different, but still pretty neat.
I hope you guys enjoy looking at it as much as I did building  and shooting it.
Thanks for looking.
