Osage Sapling #2...
« on: August 18, 2011, 11:06:45 am »
Well, on to the next two sapling bows...this one is ugly, ugly, ugly...rotten piece at the handle and limbs that come out upper/top and lower/bottom...not to mention the numerous knots...56" NtN, de-crowned back and rough and tumble nocks from some very weathered antler I found in the woods...just now getting her to bend on the tree.  Not sure if this will make it but I'm not pushing for over 55" @ 26/27" of draw...we'll see...don't plan on backing her but I might in the end...have some rawhide strips that are looking for a home...we'll see.  Cheers, P1.
When you have eliminated all which is impossible, then whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth.
