also known as a atlatl correct? i have made one of these things it was wicked could throw a dart a fricken mile if you wanted to.. okay maybe not a mile but far  >:D

my only problem was accuracy i never really practiced with it just went out and threw the dart around an old field by my house good times lol  ;D

Cool pics Jamie. Glad to see so many girls(young ladies) involved too.  8)  I guess Dane had the biggest stick in the bunch.  :D  Those are some very cool atlatl handles. Quite fancy!

That is true, Pat. Just blessed that way :) Don't hate me for it.

Those atlatls you were talking about were original ones from New Guinea. Gary Nolf brought them along to display.

For the record, I am on a diet....arggg, I can't believe how bad I look here.

Great pictiures, Jamie. I had a great time that day, as always. This event should be on everyone's schedule if they can make it to CT.
