Rats.  They block photobucket here at work so I assumed the pictures were still there....every time I assume... ???  You'd think I'd learn, but nooooo.

Alright here are some pics for your kids.

Here is the same Jungle Carpet female in the actual process of laying her eggs.  This is 4 years ago.  Sorry about them being fuzzy.




Here is a pic of freshly born baby boas.  They are born live in a sac.  The mother pushes them around to help any that are having trouble break out of the sac and also stimulate them to get them breathing.  You can kind of see that is what she is doing here.

54 days at 87F and they started hatching.  9 have pipped waiting on 3.  They often will hang out in the egg for a couple days and absorb any yolk thats left.  Enjoy.

Aw man, they are just plain cuuuuute!

If I was a bit more hard hearted I could think of using them as arrow shaft wraps.
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.

LOL JW.  Nah, you'd want to wait, these guys don't reach peak color until about 2 years old.  And at that age theyre just perfect for bow backings with nice yellow and black banding :D
