Fools gold question

  Hey  guys  I  envy  your  work!!!  I  have a  question,,,  is it  common  for you  guys to  find  fools  gold?????  I  allways  thought   you  get  it at  the  museum gift  shop,  or on  vacation ;D  and (I know I'll get  picked on!)  is it  worth  much???  I'm  looking  for  a  few  wallnut sized  hunks,  and  some  galena  let  me  know  thanks  JEFFW

We have a lot of rock shops around here in the summer and they always have iron pyrite (fools gold), want me to watch for some for you?

onondaga has a lot of iron pyrite in it. , normanskill will have veins of it now and then too

  Thanks  guys!  as  soon as I hit  the  post  button I  thought oh  boy,,,here it  comes!!!!!!!   what  I'm  doing  is  making  a  couple  of crystal  radios!!!  I  have  a walnut  size  hunk of  pyrite  and it  picks up  good,,,  this  is  just  a  forty year old  hobby  of  mine,,,I  finally  got  a  razor  blade radio to  work  after  many,  many  tries.  I  know  Nada  about  rock hunting and  was  thinking if you  guys  found it when looking for  knapping  stuff  I  may  hit you up  on  that  'JW'  thanks   JEFFW

Sailordad, green owl poop is often a sign of liver or kidney damage.  Not cool, specially if it's my Great Horned Owl, Icarus, that's pooping green!

  You   know,,, I  got  to  thinking,,,,(dangerous)  but  some one  here  or  more  are  living  off  grid,  and  would  love  this ? but  I  have  a  problem,,,,  I  suck  at  sending stuff on  the  confuser! :-[ I  could try to  take  a  bunch of  pics  and  find  a  ten year old  niece  or nephew to  send  to  one of  you  guys?????????? and  that guy could post???  really  I  suck.  I  really  love  these radios, my  goal is to get  as  many  young one in to it,,,  and  possibly  save  AM  radio  from  political  talk  radio.  keep  after  me  guys  spring is  here  and I'll no  doubt get  side tract  thanks  for  the  intrest!!!  pm  me  if you have  questions  JEFFW

but only the AM plays the oompapa music  ;D
nothing like a good ol' polka to get the feet tapping

actually i like listening to AM radio in the morning as i get ready for work
good way to catch up on all the local stuff happening,especially like the weather report every 15 mins   ;)

We have a killer FM station with the spanish music on it.........makes me want to go eat at "El Cerro Rayes" every time I hear it. "Uno Cerro Cinco Punta Treeeeeeessss!!!"
