my friends think my shops a mess, my wife thinks I have too much bow wood, my neighbors think im redneck white trash and they may all be right on the money!!

Hey Katt...it sure don't take you an hour and a half to watch sixty minutes now does it? Your making great progress quickly. I think that stick of sage is gonna be perfect for the design you have in mind don't you?

I got a chance to look at the piece of Vine maple you sent me and it looks good. It may be a little while before I can get mine started as we got pounded with hail last night throughout the county and I have to make sure I get my share of the roofs so we can keep paying the bills. Probably won't come up for air for a couple months but I think I can make steady progress on it. I need to find out whats the best way to straighten VM, especially older cured stuff. This one looks darker than the one I got from radius. It was real white in color.   Danny

That looks really nice.  Seems like that left limb is a little stiffer, is that one the bottom limb?  It looks like it wants to be.  I really like the way it's bending.  Should be a real nice bow.

Yes the left limb is a little stiff, if you scraped about 4-"6" from the handle on the left limb it will help. Looking great! 8)
