Tracker, maybe I should try "restoring" the point? I can finish what's left of the large piece and make a clay ear to replace the broken one. I know a couple guys who do restorations like that. Nah, I'll just have to break down and make another point and waste more time with this dumb, dangerous, no girls allowed, rock-breaking-out-back thing...(heheheh
