I love the idea of this but there is very few war bow people here in the states. Over in places like England they cant bow hunt so its either target bows or war bows. Plus it alot more a part of their history than ours. I would do it but I will only make War Bows from Yew in the English War Bow style, and I dont have enough Yew for war bows.

I would do this just so I could have a spare to take to cornstalk shoots, but I think the max I would want it to be is around 65# or so. I recently bought one of David Knights blanks and was planning on making it around 70# but after getting it strung up I started thinking it would perform just as well if not better around 55 to 60#'s, at least I think I will be able to make a better placement shot with it. I don't know if I would be able to tiller out anything heavier than 70# anyway to tell the truth :)
