Nice!  Very well done.

I think I know Kinley C.  He's an expert at those deep notches.  His Andice points are amazing.

I'd say a little better than pretty good results Bob. Those notches look great! And that's one cool lookin rock too :). I use my rubber hand pad. Let the ear hang out away from the pad while I punch and "whack" ;D.

A little cock eyed. But really deap and clean! good job!
I use a large block of wood with leather glued on it. I lay the point on the leather and press down with the side of my left hand and hold the punch with my left thumb and index finger

Jesse, do you hang the end your punching out over the end or do you have anotch in wood. I'm not getting very inconsist results but I guess like everything else can't expect instant results, I,m having more  trouble just trying to hold down rock an hold punch at same time :( >:( >:( Having fun either way an if I keep trying can only get better I hope. Thanks an keep the advice comin. Later Bob

I drilled 1/2 hole in 2x6x2' (to set onmy lap) ran a string to a cut off handle through hole and tie to punch. PUT FOOT PRESSURE ON  HANDLE HOLDS PUNCHS IN PLACE BY PRESSURE.
