removing oil from points

Bought some new points and know I have to remove that oil from inside the point in order to get a good bond.
how do I remove it?

The easiest way is soak them in alcohol or acetone. For field points I just heat them up good first to burn off the oil but you don't want to do that with broadheads.

I keep a can of brake Kleen handy,just sprap them out with that first and let them dry.

I've soaked them in a soup can with a bit of gasoline, then hot water and Dawn dish soap.
