updates on the cabin
« on: January 27, 2011, 12:54:26 pm »
Here are some updated pictures of the cabin im putting together, i guess not a huge difference but winters tough to work in.  we plan on having the whole cabin up around next archery season (so i can spend more time hunting)..lol   but we have a few extra rooms getting to be finished so we have some more space and hopefully we will be in it full time in march of this year. once the addition is done in a few weeks we will have 2 bedrooms, a kitchen and bathroom,   no family room yet...  just enough for a few more months.  but here are the pics and shol dhave more coming soon as all i am doing now is inside lumber work so it goes up quick.

Thats no cabin, it's a palace ! Nice   (Love hell for stout construction).  My ex-brother-in-law built one up in Montana, moved out because it creaked during tempeture changes, told him it was just talking and letting him know what was going on. May get lucky in the next year or two and start my own cabin out back of the house. I don't think there is a finer room than log, rock and fireplace. You three make a beautiful family. Best luck in your building.  '  Frank

Great looking cabin (so far).  I love the stonework.  Keep us posted, and congratulations on your newborn.
