I agree with the above comments.  Bought six hickory staves from him, four were great but two were iffy.  I asked about his return policy and he agreed to send two replacements without question, and didn't even require that I send the two bad staves back.  I'll certainly do business with Mike in the future.

Stoker, you got me thinking about ordering wood, because I'm in Canada as well.  What are these import regs you speak of?  Seems weird to me that sapwood would be an issue and heartwood wouldn't.  Because of bugs and worms in the sapwood??  Are there any other things that would cause hangups at the border?

You couldnt deal with a nicer guy then Mike ,I forgot to add some silencers to my order called Mike a day later & he made sure I got them , I always check there first when I need stuff also Mike is very knowlegeble about bow making cant say enough good !
