Southeastern Ohio, Morgan county. Not sure if you can call what i do knapping,but i can destroy perfectly good rock in a hurry.

hey pahunter. i have a primitive skills gathering coming up on june 9-10. here in connecticut if its notto far. also one of the biggest knap ins is in letchworth park in western new york in august

There are a number of knappers in the Puget Sound area. Check out the Puget Sound Knappers web site at

for more info. If you email the Web Master with your info he can hook you up with knapper local to you. This weekend, November 3 & 4, there is a knapin at Millersylvania State Park, a little south of Olympia. If you can make it, I'll see you there. One-on-one instruction, rock and tools are freely available. Info on the knapin is here:
