thanks for the inspiration
« on: January 28, 2011, 12:45:07 am »
well i would like to thank jackcracfty for inspiring me ;D

latley when i knapp i havent liked what i have been making
not that i have been making terrible points, but just didnt feel like it was fun and enjoyable like it used to be
i had been making the same couple of style of points for quit some time
my rock pile, well it just didnt seem to be hollering at me anymore

then the other day jackcrafty posted pics of a bunch of cohokia style points he made
not to mention the ones from his collection
they were simply incredible  :o
the style of point(i had never attempted these before),the quality of craftmanship
on both his and the artifacts

well now my rock pile was hollering at me again  ;D
i sat down last night and made a three, then tonight i made two more(top center going clock wise,is the order they were made in)
they are not as good as what jackcrafty made, but like i said i aint never ttempted this style before

now knapping seems fun again

so thankyou very much jackcrafty for the inspiration and making knapping interesting and fun for me again

well heres a pic or two, thats a 1942 half dollar for size comparison

thanks for looking

                                                                     peace,
