attaching stone to wood ?'s

   OK  long  story  short,,,  my  buddy  knapped  me  a  knife  for  my  back quiver,, I  love  it, it's  kinda  a  mojo  for  me,,,?  my  4 yrold  wants  to  carry it,,,  you  know  how  sharp  these things  are,,   so  my  buddy   made  a  little  bird  point  knife  head  for  my  son  (dull)   I  can't post  pics  sorry   but  it  has  a tang  that is  longer on  one  side,  I  want  to put  a  bl handle on it,  what  is  a good  way to  do it???  I  would  rather  use  a   modern  glue  but just  what  kind  do  I  use???     I  have  jute  hemp  and  fake  sinue   so  thanks  for  any  help  and  pics  as  it  is  quite a  mystery  to  me  as  how  you  guys mount  those  stones   thanks  again   JEFFW

Hey Jeff, it ain't hard. Notch out your handle so the haft will fit nicely, glue it in (I"ve used tb3 with sawdust mixed in - i really don't know why. Read it somewhere) Anyway, then wrap it with your jute or sinew then seal that with glue - whatever your using, water proof is a plus :). Works great!
When you come upon a track or trail you do not know, follow it to the point of knowing.
