60 inch hickory molle,full draw added

heres one of the two i did today hickory molle 60 inch , 14 inch working limbs 49lbs at 28inch , 1 3/4 at fades to 1 inch at levers . levers 3/4 to 1/2. finished with green paint roughed up to look aged . cottonmouth skins

Ken, nice bow.  I running out of words to describe what u can do with a piece of hickory.  Keep making and posting pics of your bows!  What is the ideal moisture content for hickory?

Wow Ken you sure are kicking out some nice bows lately.  Those skins look great and your really getting that style of bow down. Congratulations. ;)

thanks Wv,helps to understand whatever wood species you deal with.ideal moisture for hickory would be 6 to 8 percent but i doubt ive ever gotten that low or will. mine prob never get below 10, if you want low set hickory you need to trap and tiller slow !
thanks Keenan , i built a 55inch white oak ,hickory and ipe first and then decided to do a molle after chattin with rich bout lunch time.ill put the little bow on tomorrow its simple but  impressive .

heres the full draw i added from yesterdays bow , the 55inch short bow white oak backing popped off but didnt break i added hicory to it and will post tomorrow
