New to the forum

Hi all, I'm new to the forum. I live in south central Colorado and have been an archer off and on all of my 30 years. I have primarily dealt with recurves but am comfortable with any stick and string. I have an itch to start making bows and really anything out of wood. I got the itch last winter and havent been able to gt rid of it yet. My other major wood working itch is snowshoes. I am looking foreard to learning from your past posts and picking your brains on future projects.

I will try to get on that. Suitable woods for snowshoes are hard to come by in my area. There are no hardwoods that are native to this region.

Welcome to the forum, hwy40!  There's a bunch of info on these pages and if you have any questions feel free to ask.  Also if you start a bow be sure to post pics of your progress and we can help you along your journey.  There's nothing like launching your first arrow from a bow crafted by your own hand.  Good luck on your first bow just take it slow and easy and it should turn out a great shooter.   :)
