So. Fl. Pig Hunt
« on: October 10, 2010, 11:27:18 am »
I got a chance to hunt a ranch in South Fla yesterday. It turned out pretty good, even though I was after Deer. I was getting low on pork in the freeer too, so I decided to take these before we left yesterday evening. I had already passed on  6 of them in the morning because I was holding out for a deer and had to get whatever I shot across a creek with almost 3' of water. I tried to get a picture of my Redneck Waders (large contractors trash bag) but the picture didn't come out.

I hope so, Chris. I forgot to put something in the picture for comparison. We were in a hurry to leave. The dark one was right at 150# and the gray one was 142#.

Nope! We had to leave that afternoon, the young man with us had an Ice Hockey game on Sunday. That bore saves blood trailing,,didn't even kick with a 180 grn Ballistic tip.

300 Win Mag, 180gr bullet. That should have done the trick!   Nice pigs Eddie. The gray one looks bigger but that could be the camera angle.

I think it's the camera angle, Pat. The dark one was bigger and healthier looking.
