Just got in St.Louis Missouri...ain't tired yet.

I left Upper Michigan at 10:45 am Sunday....Got Home at 10:00 am Monday....thats 21 1/4 hours of driving....took a 2 hour nap in Eureka Missouri....then drove on in....I averaged 73 mph for the whole trip...not bad.....

I laid around and recuperated Monday....Went to Amarillo yesterday to buy supplies for my Bathroom Remodel....got Home to 2 Phone Messages....from Zachry's (company I worked for before getting fired... ) Crane Superintendant at the Chevron/Phillips Chemical Plant across the road from where I worked at the Conoco/Phillips Refinery....He offered Me a Job....I have to go in right now for an FBI Background Check...and then if everything pans out...I should be able to get back to work next week sometime...I forgot to ask if this was Temporary or Permanent...but right now...I will take anything....this way I will get my Vacation back...and if I do get laid off ...at least I can draw Unemployment this time...can't in Texas for any reason except for Layoff....no exceptions...wish me Luck!

I was up in MI. (lower part tho) over the week of the 16th as well.
didnt even realize you were up that way or would have made an effort to hook up.
I made it far north as Traverse C.

Well congrads on the Job. glad for you. Bet that is a load of stress off.

Just read about your dad as well. Glad to hear he checked out ok. another relief... guess you had a good week huh? Glad for u.
