« on: August 25, 2010, 05:33:34 pm »
65"t to t 5" riser an 3 1/2 grip fades from riser 2"to 1/2"thickness 3/8"backed with ldb the belly will be backed with l.before backing bow i floor tillered.the bow is bending through handle.now i know that there will be no wood showing.the purpose of this experment is to see for myself what the bow would look like an see if it is possible to get a shootable bow after tillering.i cut the whole bow on the bandsaw, all other bows i have made were strictly by hand.this bow may blow up but i do not think so.i do have some concerns about the flexability of the limbs.i believe trial an error is the best teacher.as for as class does not matter to me.i am a novice so i have to learn.their maybe a issue on set we will see an learn.i will learn the functions of ldb an the advantages.i have just finished backing.my camera is not working cant post pics.kink
