plain HHB stave

heres one i finished today, HHB 54inches tip to tip 1 1/4 inches wide at handle tapering to 3/8th nocks slightly flipped tips but nothing crazy. ebony stained, finished at 44lbs. i left the tips a little stiff on this one . thanks to Russ for this nice stave i had enough left to do another similar bow. oh sorry bout the fuzzy pics not sure what happened

forgot to mention this is the first stave bow in a while. and i was surprised at how little wood it takes to make a bow outa this stuff

Looks great Ken.. Hophornbeam seems to be the wood of choice this month so far, got your bow bookmarked for August Self Bow of the Month.  Any chance on you taking another full draw shot for me?  I can use the one you already have but it is kinda blurry.   :)

yeah but .... then you will be able to see me better. ( i get one tomorrow in the light seems to work better outside). thought this one was nice till i saw yours!

Let's see....short, nice curves....stave or board.....yep got to be Ken.  Very nice my friend, but thought ya would be practicing on the shootin part.....how many days is it now? ;D
