Thank you, Russ and Frank! I am really starting to like this HHB stuff... It is as tough as hickory without all the stringfollow.... At least in my experience.

Same thing happened to me yesterday when recurving the tips of a bow. I was thinking of roughing out the damaged wood completely and then glue a new piece of wood over. You only glued the new piece over the cracked area right?

Thank you Tbod! I just filled the crack with superglue then applied the patch over the whole works. It just seemed to be a safer alternative to trying to dish out all the broken wood first.
Thank you ChasingCrow! ...I guess I DO need to change my design they are starting to look a little bit the same.
