Nice job as others have said. HHB is powerful wood to build from. We have lots of it in Penna. I have several staves 5 or 6 years old. I like it because it is a serious bow wood , like osage.It has a define character to it. Hard to split, but sweet to scrape. And the hue is beautiful. Reminds me of black cherry.I found most iron wood tends to twist and create character. I just heat and straighten if too bad. I learnt to build with junk staves, because others weren't available at the time. And most turned out okay.Now it is a pleasure to work with any, good or bad. It is only the opinion of the beholder.
