I tried
« on: July 11, 2010, 11:23:06 pm »
This is the other half of the Juniper Branch.
I tried to get this to be more of a Gordon influence but It ended up Gordon ,George and Strunk.
30 @26 54"NTN  1/1/4" wide, Horn tip overlays backed with linen and painted with acrylic only 2" set not 4"
looks better in person. This is a repost ,didn't like the pics from the last, of course these are not much better, 1 megapixal.Phillip

I think that bow turned out nicely - I wouldn't change a thing.

Bow building is the hardest habit to kick, mostly because to beat it you need to be kept away from anything that bends :D!

I'm actually putting the finish on a new hunting flatbow, and sinew on a couple other ones. I should have some up in a few weeks :)
