Very nice looking bow,sap wood on Hickory is about all I use when using Hickory.

I get confused what is sapwood on hickory.  I thoght the darker brown stuff was the sapwood right under the bark.  Maybe thats still bark?  How do you know its saapwood on this bow?

I like it! That is a great looking piece of wood. The grain is so perfect. Everything about the bow is nice.

Gotta love hickory boards for trying a new design.  Hard to beat it, I think.  That bow is very clean, I almost prefer to see them, like yours, unstained, no handle wrap, just a good ole bow for shootin.  Your pin nocks are very good.  Way to go!
