Spring in the NC Mountains

May is a good month here in the Southern Highlands. The Flame azaleas are blooming. Local folks call them Honeysuckle. The wild azaleas are scattered throughout our woods. We have about 15 -20 blooming at any one time.

The top of the big building is Lucy's studio and we live downstairs. The third pict down is my studio. Both of our studios are bigger than where we live. Got to have priority's.

Any time you guys get up here I'll probably be in my studio making something. Cut some reed today am going to weave a basket quiver tomorrow. I try and shoot everyday.
