I picked up a very nice old draw knife at an antique store for $20. I think it is a pine knot brand. It was in great shape. I didn't even have to sharpen it.

jawge, that makes me wonder ... u ever shape a bow out with a meat cleaver , kind of like an axe i would think

ken, I never used it for shaping but I've always shaped them with a hatchet. I don't own a bow grade bandsaw. I bet a cleaver would shape too. Jawge
