I found what happens when you use a piece of bamboo that is too thick for backing. I tried to plane it with my power hand planer. Don' do that

Anyway I thought I would never get it tillered. It would stay flat in the mid section of the limb, and after each scraping. I finally said heck with it and put it on the belt sander. When I put it back on the tiller, it was bending nicely. The wood was as thick as the boo in that place

It is 44# at 26"I got too dark to shoot it so I really don't know how it shoots.Feels good when ya draw it, until the last few inches then it feels a little spongy I started sanding to get the tool marks out, and forgot to take pics Ill try to get them tonight.
