Just ordered my first bow

Just ordered my first bow. Well, wife did. For christmas for me.   It's a 50#@28 Huntsman Longbow.

As well she got me six decent arrows and field points, some replacement string as well.  And I already had a quiver.  Bought a LotR's game and it came with a full size leather quiver.  I double checked everything she ordered.

Cannot WAIT to get the bow to start practicing.    Already started plotting (yes, plotting) how I want to go about making my first bow.  I know I'd love to do an Osage with bamboo backing.

I've already started devising targets lol.  I have old bed foam lining that i am thinking of crafting a target with... Burlap sack filled with bed foam lining = cheap and effective target.
