Native American reading
« on: June 13, 2010, 12:14:19 am »
Anyone have the following books:

Bows & Arrows of the Native Americans: A Step-by-Step Guide to Wooden Bows, Sinew-backed Bows, Composite Bows, Strings, Arrows & Quivers
Encyclopedia of Native American Bows, Arrows & Quivers: Volume 1: Northeast, Southeast, and Midwest
Encyclopedia of Native American Bows, Arrows, & Quivers, Vol. 2, Plains & Southwest

I was thinking about getting 1 (or all 3) and was wondering was everyone's thoughts were.  Thanks for any help!

All three are Informative....but I like the two Encyclopedias better....they have a lot of measurements that one can only get from a Museum....

I think that the "Bows and Arrows of the Native Americans" book is one of the best out there for good basic knowledge of making bows and arrows.
