thanks for all the input guys,barney ive been preping the sinew for these and other bows  the whole winter ,,i now have around seven pounds of finished fibers,moose leg ,deer leg and deer backstrap that i got off dana in trade..if any of you fellows have any moose,deer or elk leg tendons you would trade let me know if we can work a trade out..............thanks again,,james

I'm trying to make some like these myself, and they really are time consuming.

Are you making them from any drawings or measurements? If so, perhaps you would share your sources?

Wow, 7 lbs of processed sinew is a lot of pounding!!  I'm impressed.

I have a few years of deer leg tendon and backstrap sinew stored up that I haven't touched yet.  I think I put 3 deer worth in the bag this last fall.  How much sinew are you looking for?

7 lbs of processed sinew is a freakin boatload I will say this James is a good guy to trade with so send him yer sinew eh

James, I have, about 30 each leg tendon and backstrap sinew.  Mice got to it in storage so some of the ends are frayed, especially on the backstrap.  I have a picture if you'd like to see what it looks like.

    I had a great supply of buffalo but can't find it anymore. Now stuck with deer.
