need help bending my bow

i have my bow and i tillering it and i have tillered it enough but it still need to be more bendable because i want to use like 110 pound pull back i need some ways to bend it more steam? i don't know please help

Chriss, 110 pull is a bit much for your first bow. How tall are you and how much do you weigh?

If you can't pull it, it ain't tillered enough, by definition. If you could post some pics it would be helpful. And why in the world do you need  a 110 lb bow? Most of us hunt big game with 50-60 lb bows. Fred Bear killed elephants with bows pulling much less than that.

i ment i don't want it to be 110 pound that would be crazy i want it like 10 or 15 or maybe less i just need it more bendy

Then you need to keep taking wood off until it bends evenly and is the draw weight you want. If the limbs are bending evenly, slowly take wood off with a scraper evenly on both limbs until you have the weight where you want it.

how can i tell if they are bending evenly this is my first bow and it is red oak

if both limbs bend the same amount they are bending evenly

Chriss - are you using a tillering tree?  If so, post a picture of your bow on the tree begin held in a drawn position.  That way folks can look at it and tell you better what the next step is...

i highly reccomend toy buy the bowyers bible. it'll awnser all of your questions its on ebay cheap.
