You guys are so lucky to have access to good rock like that!  I don't even know if there is anything good to use around my part of VA.  Quartz is about the only usable rock that I know of around here.  I may have to pm you about some of that KY blue.

How is that KY Blue to work with in comparison to Texas Chert?

If it's Pedernalas your comparing it to...Ky blue would be velvet and the ped would be 40 grit sandpaper
