From oneeye: Here's my new huntin buddies. 60" ntn 58# @ 28" bbo w/copperheads and bubinga lam and handle, wb tips a mess of arrows and a bunch of points made for me by SawFiler.
This one started out with 5 1/2" of reflex, unfortunately I lost 2" of that, unstrung right after brace it's at 3 1/2" of reflex. 1 1/2" wide tapering down to 3/8" at the nocks. Shoots real nice and its pretty quick, probably the nicest bow I've made. Should be, started it back in 06'. What can I say, I'm slow !!
The handle did this one for me. Not to mention the wonderful arrows that went with this bow:"
I believe that is one of the nicest bows I have ever laid eyes on. You certainly haven't lost your touch." -Badger
"
That is absolutely beautiful. One of the best I've seen, not to mention those arrows. Outstanding work, it may have taken a long time but it was worth it." -ricktrojanowski
"
beautiful" just doesn't cover it... But as I'm lost for words, it'll have to do!Gorgeous grip-work too... I've a few pairs of boots with that type of plaiting around the edges. If you make another grip like that, you've GOTTA do a build-along for it!! Please??" -HatchA
"
That is a great looking bow. Im particularly glad you took so long to build it. I think it is important that the new guys know we don't just whip one like that out in a couple of hours. Patience is still the bowyers best tool. " -Justin Snyder
