Mackenzie Update and my first osage bow
« on: March 21, 2010, 06:23:40 pm »
I figured I would update you all on how Mackenzie is doing.  She is 3 months old and a week now.  She has been doing great...no more real bad issues just a couple UTI's but she has gotten over them pretty quick.  She is really getting into a fun stage where she can use her hands and is making a lot more vocalizations.  She loves to laugh and giggle and coo.  And we are finding out that she is quite the social butterfly.  We went to my Godson's baptism last weekend and she just fed on all the little ol' ladies coming up to her and making a fuss over her.

Her are some pics for you all to enjoy.

And here are some more pics.

Mackenzie wasn't able to be all dressed up for Christmas but family had gotten her Christmas outfits...so my wife dressed her up in them before she outgrew them and took some pics.  Ain't she cute?

Some Arrow material I picked up in Yuma.  Donax, arrow weed, and tamarisk.

And My first osage bow for Mackenzie.  This is laminated from 2 pieces of scrap that I had from a board I got from Timo and then backed with a strip of leather.  It is 36" long, 1/2" wide and draws 10# @ 10".

This is Skyarrow's wife, and I just wanted to say that we are so happy that Mackenzie is doing so well!! They grow up too fast! You have a beautiful little angel there!! The dress she wore to the baptism is the same dress that our oldest (Starleigh) wore for her first Easter!! lol Great minds!! Take care, and keep up the great work!!

you have a beautiful little girl Nate.  Glad to hear she is doing well and that is so awesome that you have already made her first bow!    :)

Thanks Guys She definitely is a camera Ham.  Skyarrows Wife, I told my wife about that and she thought it was great!!!  A lot of you helped pull her through her ordeals with your prayers so I consider y'all adopted family so I will make sure to keep you updated.
