Bows and arrows for the ElmHall trip. Sadie has had a long day.
Miss Joanie had me cut this River Birch for around her pool,seen no need in wasting it,I saved the bark for my fire starting kit,it will light wet,pretty cool stuff.
Hunter Collingsworth,Brian's son and the new World Traditional champ for Youth,man that kid can shoot. JonT and Allen Corn showed up for some fun on the Hunter Challenge range with us Saturday morning.

Jon still working on strings,the problem with being good at something is you get a lot of request.
Will working on another Osage bow,that boy can't stop.
I was just relaxing and watching.
The Persimmon stave before splitting,it didn't look like it was going to split that good[as persimmion a lot of time does ] so I cut it on the saw.
That way we for sure got 2 good stave's.

Will and Jon fixing to do somemore shooting, Also Will doing some handle work on his Osage. Splitting/cutting the Persimmon stave,turned out 2 nice stave's.

GregB shows up and he and Will lay out one of the Persimmon stave,The Old Bear Recurve skinned and sealed,I think the guy will like it.That's it for this weekend,I will be headed out tomorrow so see yall on the 7th of August.Hope yall had a good one also.

We will take plenty of pictures Steve[Miss Joanie got me another new camara yesterday] 6th since November,I am rough on them things.
We are headed North this evening as soon as we get everything loaded.Can't wait,this is always a fun trip for me and I know Jon will enjoy it.

We missed you guys this weekend Pappy! Im sure yall had fun though. Woody, Big A, Greg and myself shot the range early Sat morning. We had a good time! Greg and I ended up hanging around most the rest of the day workin on a few odds and ends. All in all it was a good day. I just wished I would have remembered to take more pics... Oh well, I took a few. Here they are
