Wow! Another cool weekend. Got to talk to you guys about how to go about tillering those laminated bows. Still have not worked on the one I have from James Parker. Want to get to it but time just seems to fly bye.

Greg, those knives are way cool!

Pappy:  Just wondering if you have the paper wheels up and running for all those knife makers?  We are worried about some flooding as there is a record snow fall in the mountains.  Lots of elk calves showing up and the buck deer have horns out past their ears.  Its been a crazy winter!  Talked to Hawk Huston last weekend and he said he was going to try to make it to next year's Classic.  He would fit right in with all the regulars!  We are leaving this weekend for Alberta and a family fly in for a few days fishing.  Sure do enjoy all the pictures of the farm!  A/Ho Joe

Thanks Steve!  I remember meeting you and was good talking to you.  This trip is the first time our whole family will be together for many, many years.  We are going to fly into a series of remote lakes to a cabin for a week.  We all like to fish and there will be grayling, pike, rainbows, and lake trout for us to try to catch.  Its funny when you think that I live on one of the best cutthroat streams in Wyoming and am going to drive a couple thousand miles to go fishing!  Kind of like the long trip to the Classic, just the experience of meeting all the great people makes the drive worth while.  A/Ho Joe

Friday and I am ready for it,I am headed to the cabin about noon,it has been hot this week but ant as bad as you think in the bow shop with the fans going,I plan on doing a little straighting on DaveO bow and get the rawhide back on it,and also try and finish the repair job on Art's bow and see if it is going to make it. ;)Who knows I may even get some time to work on my Winged elm bow, :) it is braced and ready for the tiller board. I think Alex is coming in ,Jon has a wedding to go to ,I will miss him this weekend. :( I am sure there will be a few more show up. We still have a lot of little stuff to get ready for our IBO shoot but I think I will put that on hold this weekend,We have a meeting and working next weekend so maybe we can get most of the stuff done then. I plan on [for a change] to try and shoot in this one coming up so I need to get a little practice in,probably shoot the practice course early and late. ;) :) :) Hope yall have a good one also.See ya Monday. Life is good. :) :)
